According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the country recorded a total of 387 new cases of coronavirus on Friday, even as the centre said efforts are being intensified to flatten the curve of the pandemic.
The new cases were confirmed by the specialist agency, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Twitter.
This takes the country’s total infections to 9,302, out of which 2697 have been discharged with 261 losing their lives.
According to data from the NCDC, the cases were spread across 13 states and the FCT, with Lagos accounting for the highest number of infections for the day with 254 cases.
Apart from Lagos, records of other states are as follows: FCT-29, Jigawa-24, Edo-22, Oyo-15, Rivers-14, Kaduna-11, Borno-6, Kano-3, Plateau-2, Yobe-2, Gombe-2, Bauchi-2, Ondo-1
So far, Nigeria has discharged: 2,697 while 261 persons have died from the pandemic.
