The Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) said it has concluded plans to begin decontamination of its Abuja headquarters and other offices across the country.

According to the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Is-haq Oloyede, the exercise is in support the Federal government in the fight against the  coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Oloyede disclosed that during the phased opening of activities in the country, members of its staff across the  country would be sanitised before and after closure of work  on a daily basis.

He added that the board has placed an order for locally-produced disinfectant sprayers from the National Agency for Science Engineering Infrastructure, (NASENI).
