The Nasarawa State governor Abdullahi Sule has flagged off the construction of Keffi Square and neighborhood market to improve on the revenue base of the state. The project is expected to gulp over N1.6 billion
While flagging of the project, the governor said the purpose of the construction of the neighborhood market is to boost the socio-economic activities of the people in that area and the entire state.
“The projects if completed will also improve on the standard of living of the people of Keffi, the state and Nigeria at large,” he said and added that it was a dream come true for him and not just fulfilling campaign promises.
The governor urged the contractor handling the job, Canonic Associates to adhere strictly to project specification.
“This project is expected to be competed at this end of this year and I urge the contractor to adhere strictly to project specifications in the interest of development” he said.
