Report has it that former Nigeria’s Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Dezieani Allison Madueke has been appointed as Commissioner for Trade and Investment by Roosevelt Skerrit, the Prime Minister of Commonwealth of Dominican Republic.

The report stated that before the appointment, the government of Dominican Republic had granted the former Petroleum minister citizenship of the Caribbean Island Country.

The former Nigerian minister has been in self-exile since she left office following the end of President Goodluck Jonathan and has been accused of stealing billions of Dollars by the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. She has consistently denied the allegations of corruption, saying they were political witch-hunt.
