Nigeria has said that its citizen, Ramoni Igbalode, popularly known as Hushpuppi, who was arrested by the Police in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, must face the full weight of the law.
This was made known by the Chairman of the Nigerians Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa who stated government;s position in reaction to the release of the video by Dubai authorities detailing the shady deals of Hushpuppi, who was alleged to have defrauded over 1.9 million people, with over $40 million and 12 luxury cars seized from him.
“This is really denting to our image as a people, but like I always say, fraud does not represent who we are as Nigerians. Hardworking, dedicated, committed,” Dabiri said.
