The Bauchi state Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has on Saturday elected its Executives that will pilot the affairs of the party for the next four years.
After the congress that was held at the multipurpose indoor sports hall, the incumbent chairman of the party, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam polled close to 3000 votes to returned re-elected for the second time in an unopposed contest, just as other Executive Council Members retained their positions having scored different number of votes.
Speaking on behalf of the elected officials of the party, the state chairman, Alhaji Hamza Koshe Akuyam promised to work towards the betterment of the party in the state.
While thanking party members for giving them another mandate, Hamza said that they will consolidate on the Democratic dividends so far provided by the PDP led administration in the state so as to further take the state to greater heights.
He called on the party faithful and stakeholders not to relent on drawing their attention whenever they erred in order to have a smooth operation of the party in the state.
