500 officers and men of Amotekun, the South-West security outfit, have passed out and issued certificates to resume work.

The passing out parade which took place in Akure the Ondo state capital inspected by the state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu who at the occasion, assured the people of the state that criminal elements will no longer trouble the relative peace enjoyed in the state with the take-off of the State Security Network Agency known as Amotekun Corps.

He noted that with a workable synergy among the leadership of the security agencies and that of Amotekun, water-tight strategies capable of arresting crimes even before they occur would be deployed.
