“…..It’s a shame,” says Trump

US president Donald Trump has described as shameful, the number of his country’s citizens that have died from the coronavirus pandemic, saying it should not have happened in the first place if adequate measures were taken by those concerned, in apparent reference to China and the World Health Organisation, WHO.

While speaking to reporters at the South Lawn of the White House as he was leaving for a rally in Pennsylvania, Trump said- “It’s a horrible thing. It should have never, ever happened. It’s a shame.”

He said later that day at the Pennsylvania rally, Trump he has done very well in the battle against the pandemic, saying- “W have done A-plus job,” while mocking the candidate of the Democratic party, Joe Biden for wearing a face mask.

He again blamed China for allowing it to become a pandemic, adding that a vaccine will be widely available for Americans soon

He said- “You can’t meet. You can’t congregate. You can’t look at each other. You can’t give your wife…a kiss goodnight, you gotta wear a mask. You can’t do anything.”
