The Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN, has postponed the proposed power outage on 330KV Kaduna/Kano which was announced last week.
The proposed outage was to enable TCN connect 330KV isolator arm in preparation for the movement of the 75MX shut reactor to a new position at Kumbotso Transmission Station has been postponed.
However, a statement Sunday, signed by Ibrahim Sani Shawai, Head, Corporate Communications, KEDCO, said that in line with the new development, the general public would be informd should there be a new date for such outage in the future.
He said- “We herewith inform the general public of the postponement while assuring that any piece of information on the outage and the new date will be communicated as soon as we receive same from TCN.
“We very kindly apologise for any inconvenience while assuring our unflinching resolve to continue to deliver improved power supply always.”
