The abductors of Ekiti businessman, Happiness Ajayi, have demanded N10m from his family as ransom for his release.

This is coming three days after Ajayi was abducted on Christmas day and taken to an undisclosed location.

He was abducted around 6pm at a bad spot on the Isan-Iludun-Ekiti road in Oye Local Government while travelling from Ado-Ekiti in company of his cousin, Fatile Oluwaseun who was later rescued by the combined forces of the Amotekun Corps, Police and local hunters.

A Family who didn’t want to be quoted said abductors demanded N100 million on Saturday but later reduced it to N10million on Sunday, adding that the abductors called them on phone to make the demand.
