A lecturer and a former Program Coordinator in the department, Malam Abdul Burra described the decease as a very committed person who was eager to succeed.
“I am very shocked and saddened by the news of the demise of Muhammad Buhari Jamda as a result of an accident along Bauchi Club”, Burra wrote on his Facebook page early Tuesday morning.
He said Buhari was a disabled person who saw ability in his disability by working hard to pursue his goals and ambitions.
“He was my HND student who later made me his guardian. Every day he would come to my office to greet me or seek advice on variety of issues”, Burra further said.
He said that despite his disability, the diseased was very regular, serious and attentive in class, adding that Buhari’s respect to all and commitment to achieve his goals are exemplary.
“Weeks ago, he told me that he is mobilized for NYSC and hoped to be in Camp next month, unknown to us he will not live to attain the feat he so much cherished”, Mallam Burra said.
Burra who prayed Allah to repose the soul of the decease said death is indeed a lesson for all to learn.
