Facts have emerged that former Oyo state Governor, Otunba Alao-Akala who died Wednesday morning, was found dead in his room when his family members went to greet him in the morning.
African Community News reported earlier today, that Akala died at age 71.
Sources have however revealed that the former governor returned from Abuja Tuesday. He was in Abuja to felicitate with the former minority leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mulikat Akande.
One of our sources said Akala returned from Abuja Tuesday, held meeting with political allies in the evening same day but was found dead in his room in the morning when family members went to greet him.
His remains have been deposited in hospital.
